  1. Write down the story of your pregnancy and loss. You can make it as short or as long as you would like, as simple or as detailed as you feel comfortable with.Your story may be slightly edited for grammar/spelling, spacing and format. We may also edit profanity, at our discretion.
  2. At the beginning or end of your story, please include the following information:
    1. Your first name, your lost child(ren)’s name(s), and their date(s) of birth and death
    2. Your city/state
    3. Your blog or email address.
    4. The categories that are available for your particular stories will be miscarriage, stillbirths, or early infant loss.
    5. Your email address, ONLY if you are open to having other women contact you with questions for support.
    6. Tell us how you found out about us! Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or search engines.
  3. Include a photo of your face. Please make sure the file is at least 2×3 inches and in JPG f ormat. We will be adding text to the bottom that says, “I am the survivor of ______.” Please let us know what you would like in the blank for example: “I am the survivor of miscarriage,” or “I am the survivor of stillbirth.” Note: Please make sure the photo only includes the author of the story (while we realize that there is a father behind every story, we really want to keep the photos to single faces. If the father would like to add his own story and photo, that would be wonderful!)
  4. Email your story and picture to: miscarriagem@gmail.com
  •  Please use “Story Submission” in the subject line.

Once you have emailed your submission, please allow up to five days for it to be published on the site.

Even though we know that some women has been through elective abortions or made decision that they regret later in life, we choose not to publish these stories. There are organizations that provide services and supports that can provide you with the comfort and outlet that you need. Please contact us and we will be glad to give you the contact information for those organizations.

Please do not include stories of your living children for there are many that visit our site and that recently experienced the loss of a child. They may or may not be in a place to read of successful births, so we ask that you consider their feelings of loss.
We will reserve the legal right to all stories submitted here to and after for copyright purposes of publishing the book.  By you sharing your story you agree to give us full rights to your story and are giving us complete authorization for publication purposes.
